How I Lost 200 Pounds

A lot of people have asked me how I lost weight...this is because I used to be big. I touched on it in an earlier video but I thought I'd go into how I lost the weight in greater detail and also explain how I try and maintain the weight once I reached my goal. This isn't a quick fix gimmick - just simple tips that you can easily live by.

  2. Thanks for making this, Lawrence. I'm just shocked that you were 390 at 16 and still ALIVE! I've actually been drinking water with something called Crystal Light. Which is basically the U.S equivalent of Fruit Tea. I'm guessing. As for exercise, I've been focusing more on cardio with the elliptical at our downstairs gym. But, yeah I should be doing more weight lifting just to be on the safe side. Excellent job, Masako. This helps a lot.

  6. Thanks for making this video. I am trying to lose weight at the moment and this video was a huge inspiration for me, and showed me I was going about it completely the wrong way.

Thank you for being my inspiration.

  7. Asking a Doctor or (Especially) a Nutritionist will 9/10 times lead to "Buy this pill from me" "Here have diet milkshakes, hand over money"

This website fully explains when you should and shouldnt resort to doctors.

along with general health tips, a lot of it is almost exactly what you said.

  8. On a note about Cardio, I don't walk, I never walk.
What I do is pop on Kinect Sports or Dance Central, easy, mildly entertaining, gets the heart pumping.

If I'm near an Arcade, I get on DDR whenever I have the chance.

  9. My jaw just DROPPED. 200 pounds?! That's crazy! In the best kind of way, of course; you must feel like you're on top of the world for what you've achieved. You're one solid proof that change CAN BE DONE. Congrats, Lawrence! Keep on inspiring people!

  11. You're just one of the few people who sacrificed and changed their lifestyles to be healthy. I like to quote what you said, that "because something doesn't have sugar doesn't mean it is not tasty." This should be a point to be raised, especially since a lot of people like sugar-rich foods. You're an inspiration to many people who have suffered the same. Cheers to you!

  12. I'm with them, Laurence! You're an inspiration, not only to people who weigh above their ideal weights, but also to ordinary people who want to be healthy in their own ways. Watching a 15-minute video like the one you did is surely time well spent! :)

    Regards,
    Marc
